Hello my lovely readers!
It is Monday again and we are just 4 days away from Christmas! I have to say that I am getting more and more excited and I am seeking for different ways to embrace the Christmas spirit in my free time. After a wonderful weekend with George I am finally feeling relaxed with a sense of security. I am looking forward to tell you more about the recent changes in my life in a future blog post. Today though I want to share my personal top picks for Christmas gifts 🙂 I have to say that I never ever tell George what I want for Christmas because I love surprises. This post comes so late because I wanted to be sure he already got my present on his own, without any guidance from the blog 🙂 You can check my suggestions for a Christmas gift for him here.
So, let the gift daydreaming begin!
The item I personally fancy the most is a Markus Lupfer jumper. The ones you can see on the picture are from his collaboration with Disney and I simply adore them. Unfortunately, the price tag is such that requires you to be very very very good during the year. However, there are some good deals on eBay that can get you the desired jumper for about half the price. You can also head to the Outnet or Brand Outlet for a discount.
The second item I really fancy is a fur pom pom hat 🙂 Those are literally everywhere this winter and I did indeed get caught up in the craze. I already have a beige hat with a fur pom pom but as a genuine lover of black I really need a black hat to complement most of my outfits.
The third item is also the one that George got me as an early Christmas present. This is Marc Jacobs’ new fragrance Decadence. I am in love with the rich and intense aroma that keeps changing the longer the perfume stays on your skin. I also really like the fact that the perfume actually has some undertones of a man’s perfume. For the record, I wore One Million by Paco Rabbane for a whole summer because I couldn’t get enough of it. Now I simply give it as a present to all the special men in my life. 🙂 If you are a fan of sweet or unisex perfumes I really recommend Decadence!
My final choice for a gift is a Neri Karra bag. I had the honor of meeting the designer during my Vogue summer course at the Conde Nast College of Fashion and Design. The bags Neri creates are of the highest quality with an intricate attention to detail. The colors of the leathers are bright and unconventional and owning one of her bags will definitely get you noticed!
This is all for today! I hope you have found some Christmas gift inspiration for either a treat to yourself or a present for a loved one 🙂 On Wednesday, I will be telling you more about the changes that recently occurred in my life and I would also share a few words on why you should really practice what you preach 🙂
Have a lovely week everyone!
